Position Summary
Under general supervision, the Technical Support Representatives will provide technical support to end-users (customers) in a fast-paced call center environment. Technicians will provide support and solutions for a variety of issues to include but are not limited to, resolving username and password issues, uninstalling/reinstalling basic software applications, verifying established corporate hardware and software configurations, assisting with navigating around application menus and troubleshooting email issues along with other various tasks.

Primary Duties
  • Assist users and solve a variety of computer problems including troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Setup and install computers and computer related hardware.
  • Install and configure software.
  • Perform user account maintenance on domain user accounts, email, and Oracle.
  • Setup and troubleshoot VoIP phones and software.
  • Perform moves, adds, changes, and do basic troubleshooting on a PBX based phone system.
  • Network and phone cabling installation.

Education and Experience
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience.
  • A+, Network+ and/or MCSA/MCSE certifications desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of computers, operating systems and applications.
  • Experience fixing PC hardware problems, installing memory, hard drives, etc.
  • Knowledgeable in TCP/IP Ethernet networking concepts in a Microsoft environment.
  • Must have excellent customer service attitude and skills. 
  • Good verbal skills, willingness to learn, team player.  
  • Willing to work occasional evenings or weekends.
